What we've been learning so far... (Presentation to OII/Ofcom Seminar)

Last night we had our final focus group session in Oxfordshire, after visiting Rotherham and Wiltshire also.

Now our task is to pull together everything we have learnt from our literature review, survey and focus groups to sketch out some ideas around how youth work can respond to the phenomena of online social networking.

We've already made a start on that - and yesterday morning I was down in London at the Ofcom offices presenting some of the emerging findings from this project to a seminar organised by the Oxford Internet Institute.

The slides from that presentation are below, and if you head over and view them on SlideShare you can also see a slideshow transcript at the bottom of the screen my notes on each slide which give a bit more context.

Update 14th May 2008: A webcast of my presentation is also available online here. You can find my presentation 59 minutes into the recording of Session 1.
